It's All About the Presentation

We spend so much time trying to find the perfect gifts for all our loved ones, when it comes time to wrapping them it can just feel like a hassle; and it can be expensive!
Recently my mom started reusing gift bags to avoid waste and make her life easier. And the less waste going into the landfills the better! But being the detail orientated, presentation focused person that I am I just had to find the perfect wrappings. Plus, a little bit of wrapping provides the element of surprise. Seeing the faces of my friends and family opening their gifts in anticipation is one of the best parts of gifting.

I bought the pinecone wrapping paper on sale at Anthropologie. It is now sold out, but it is designed by Bonnie Kaye Studio and can be ordered online. She has many different patterns and colors to choose from on the same brown bag colored background. It is definitely good wrapping paper for any occasion and is only $15. Bonnie Kaye Studio also has patterned napkins and table runners for a complimentary table setting.

So the White Georgia Pine Cone Wrapping Paper is my statement. I bought the red wrapping paper at Target for like 2 bucks. And it was the hardest thing to find wrapping paper that wasn't covered in glitter or Santa patterns.
My theme this year for wrapping was simple and understated. Glitter is so overrated. So the brown bag color and the simple textured, red wrapping was perfect.
I also bought the red and white string at Target. And I think it can be bought year round in red or black. It was also $2 and can be used for other purposes other than wrapping. Gotta love multi-tasking!

The last touch is the name tag from Michaels. I think I found them in the wedding section. And yes they have a little sparkle to them. And under the lit up Christmas tree the the name tags stand out, so everyone can easily grab their gifts!
Now it's just time to wait for all of the wrapping paper to be ripped apart and gifts to be opened!
