I recently graduated from Marymount University with a bachelors degree in interior design and I now work at an architecture firm in the wonderful city of Washington D.C.

I believe it takes a special set of skills to be an interior designer. It takes a certain amount of practical thinking and a large supply of bright ideas; a talent for combining the functional with the beautiful.

And coincidentally, life often requires those same skills!
